Overview
Developed a multi-platform side project designed to unify the travel and lifestyle experience, from discovering dream destinations to booking vacation rentals and high-end dining. I am currently architecting both the web and mobile ecosystems, focusing on creating a seamless, centralized hub for personalized travel planning.
Technical Execution
Product Design: Led the end-to-end design process in Figma, crafting a cohesive visual language and intuitive user flows for both the web and mobile applications.
Full-Stack Engineering: Architected a high-performance frontend using Next.js and React.js, leveraging TypeScript to ensure a scalable and maintainable codebase.
Backend & Data: Engineered a robust data layer with PostgreSQL, utilizing GraphQL for flexible data fetching and REST APIs for external service integrations.
Infrastructure & Styling: Implemented a modern, responsive interface using Tailwind CSS and containerized the development environment with Docker for consistent cross-platform deployment.
Result
Successfully moved the project from conceptual wireframes to an active development phase. The current architecture provides a solid foundation for a “single-pane” travel discovery tool, reducing the friction of juggling multiple platforms to plan and book comprehensive vacation experiences.
